Judi is on her feet tonight, with family, celebrating the coming New Year that promises to be so much better thanks to the help of everyone!
Her leg looks really great compared to the start. There is still a small area that is not fully closed but things are improved and the color of her leg is much better. Therapy is set to continue through Friday Jan 10.

Tia Judi is doing much better. with many thanks to the teeming minions for that!
She is still walking on both feet but does have challenges as circulation is not ideal and she has had a couple minor wounds. But so far anything else that has come along has been something the doctors can stay on top of and treat promptly so no imminent risk of amputation!
Colombia is having difficulties with the COVID crisis. I cannot imagine what she would be going through if she had just had an amputation prior to the virus striking. Access to medical care would be a tremendous challenge had we not been able to come together and save her leg.
Coincidentally, my sister had to have her leg amputated a couple months ago because of cancer.
