Libertarian, it’s not often I can say I agree with you, but I absolutely, 100%, without reservation, agree with you on this. Saddam is a monster, and the world will be well rid of him. It’s shameful that people have stooped to believing that he might have changed his ways, in the absence of any evidence even _suggesting_ that this might be the case.

Just read Tony Blair’s insightful [summary](http://www.number-10.gov.uk/output/Page3294.asp) of Saddam’s prevarication. He has not changed.

Goodbye, Saddam.

Since the premise of the OP has been asked and answered, and I really don’t want the fighting to continue on this thread, would **Coldfire** or another friendly Mod kindly lock it down? Thanks much.
