Here is a comment for my dear friend Sparc Blowing up Israelis just isn’t a lark. ## Although it’s true that I really don’t dig it; That doesn’t make me an anti-Palestinian bigot. ## Dear Kimstu, it was not so wise To claim Israel frequently lies. ……You may feel superior, ……To think them inferior. But lack of cites wins you no prize. Some Israel opponents are nuts Without any and’s, if’s or but’s ……Whate’er comes along ……They see Israel as wrong Thank God for the smilie :wally ---

**december** ; no comment. **To the rest of the board:** Although someone here is trying to make me out to be anti-Israel I vehemently decry this as a slanderous defamation of my name. I have no issues against the nation in question, nor its peoples. I might have taken issue with certain politics and actions by the Likkud government but never have I uttered an ill word about Israel. Like most sensible people I deeply deplore the violence wrought on innocent people in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, on both sides. Sparc **december** don’t bother replying. I refuse to debate you any longer based on that I do indeed consider you to be trolling. ---

**Sparc** – You can’t keep making accusations of trolling and expect to get away with it on a board where it’s frowned upon to do so in public. You should be e-mailing a Mod or Admin. FWIW, I’d suggest taking the longer view: Accept that in mainstream European terms he might be trolling but from a (right of European) US perspective, he’s just an unquestioning, non-critical, Israeli-supporting conservative. You have to adjust your frame of reference on a largely US-centric board. IMHO – and I know this is hard - I’d suggest it’s better to concentrate on the issues rather than the personalities. ---

Thank you for setting me straight. **London\_Calling**. I apologize for the trolling accusations and will henceforth leave those judgements in the hands of the mods and admins. I am obviously letting my anger get away a little with me. As regards to my issues with **december** you seem to think that I take issue with his unquestioning support for Israel. I understand very well how his frame of mind works here and I am more than willing to let him stay in it. I’ll gladly debate it though, and then in a friendly tone. That’s not the problem. As I have pointed out to the gentleman in question and to others on numerous occasions the last couple of weeks, it’s another thing that drives me up the wall about him. It’s his relentless slurs against Europeans and his self avowed anti-Muslimism that I cannot accept. That he also bases his views on obviously false grounds makes it even worse. I find it all highly offensive and please do not tell me that by American standards this is acceptable. Bigotry might arguably be even less politically correct in the US than in much of Europe. Further it is his debating style, but there you are right. That’s personal and I should be better than letting that get into the argument other than as a means to debate. Sparc ---
