I’m 26. I don’t think we had cable until 1989. I realise many of these are older than I am, but my sister and I weren’t really allowed to watch anything but what my parents liked. 1. I’ve heard of 3 (“Where’s the beef?!”) but only because I looked it up on YouTube the first time I heard it mentioned a couple of years ago, I know 5 (“Don’t worry, be happy…”) is a song I’ve heard a couple of times but know nothing more about it, and I know 11 is from **Ferris Bueller’s Day Off** but I have never seen the whole movie. The rest are completely alien to me. I’m 19. ---

I’m 29 on Monday. A bit obtuse as far as this stuff is usually concerned. Curiously enough, I didn’t get most of them until I read them aloud to myself. When the accent took over, it clicked. 1. Yeah, that’s Looney Tunes. 2. Liberace. 3. Wendy’s. Isn’t Dave Thomas dead or something? 4. NFC 5. Bobby Whatshisname. Mc something or other. 6. NFC 7. NFC 8. Some valley girl thing, but I cannot remember where it came from. 9. NFC 10)NFC 11)This one is still used all the time. Anyone here? 12)Alas, NFC. ---

I’m 34, and all but 6 were familiar, but I couldn’t place 1, 2 and 12, probably because I was only 3 or 4 at the time when they were popular. ---

Only 5 and 11. I never watched much TV as a kid besides Nickelodeon. I thought everything else was bullshit. ---

I recognize numbers 3, 5, 8, and 11. Going from your answer sheet, I’ve also definitely seen numbers 9 and 12, but all that says is that I don’t remember the running gags from when I was a young kid, more than that I wouldn’t be part of the generation to have seen it. I’m 27.9. ---
