Sometimes polls are necessary, even if they aren’t the most important thing. Take [this poll](http://bumpshack.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/allison_stoke_1.jpg) for example. The poll is obviously required for the situation, but I am far more interested in the person behind it.
