I think the answer to your question is that way too many men, regardless of how they felt about the issues, simply refused to vote for Hillary because she reminded them of their ex-wife.

Trump’s gains among Latinos, even after Latino children were locked up in cages, separated from their parents and some died on his watch, and his gains among women, both interested (and appalled) me.

Some recent news about some young voters and Biden.

That is, they are less encouraged by Biden for various reasons involving climate, employment, war, etc.
