I find rebates to be a hassle, but I understand why they are used. However, your wording on this gave me a good chuckle. I’ll make sure to include a teabag in my next rebate mailing.

Either that or a photo of you teabagging your dog. Fat Bald Guy touched on the incident which inspired my OP-the Tax Cut program requires several mail-in rebates, why in the name of OG have one of them end prior to 30 April, such that you have to engage in multiple mailatude?

This was really a rhetorical rant-I know they’re betting on x% of the purchasers forgetting, and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they automatically shitcan 75% of the proper submissions, banking on the presumption that so few will (a) bitch and (b) have backup data. Bastards.

I either think of rebates as getting a belated discount, or paying full price for something and then, by the time I get the check in the mail, I’ve forgotten about the rebate and consider it a gift of “free money.” I love 'em.

I came in just to say this. Oh yeah… and the boyfriend doesn’t ever remember, so it’s *my * free money.
