I was going to say “no you don’t” but then I remembered that technically Hippy Hollow is a completely different state from the rest of North By-God Kakalak.

**Soapy** I already said it on FB but I hope the damage is not too bad. Downed trees and leaky roofs are no fun. Been there. Done that. Bought the tshirt and paid the deductible. Seriously, I have one tree near da cave. If it ever starts to look not so good, it’s goin’ down.

Unfortunately, this tree is in the “open space” between our house and my neighbors. Technically, the HOA will have to deal with it. Our HOA is a few of us who collect some money every now and again to pay for the liability insurance on our 14 acres of open space. So it’ll be us and our neighbors who end up taking care of it!

QD spent last Wednesday telling us incredibly funny health care stories which I am not allowed to repeat in full detail, although i will say the one about the woman missing half her skull making out with the guy with a medical halo (you know, metal spikes in head) was particularly good. I’m sure you can fill in details yourselves. 😃
We had a fabulous brunch with **Muppet** and The Boy on Saturday, and I’m glad the cats are recovering.
Been kind of a stressful day. I had contractions all night, mild contractions all morning, finally paged my midwife and she sent me to bed and I sent Nat off with my mother. They stopped after a few hours of lying down, but they were time-able and regular, and didn’t seem to increase or decrease with activity. And it was something like sixteen hours, which is weird.
I do not want to have this baby for another month, please! I do not want to be in NICU with my kid!

I can’t access FB from work either. It’s a complete miracle I can access the Dope at work.
I don’t do any of the games on FB; MafiaWars, Farmville, etc. I do chat on there, post on peoples walls and send birthday greetings. It’s an easy way for me to keep up with my sister who lives out East.
Still feeling utterly crappy. This shit better pass!

It’s not really bad. That’s our only kitchen window too, but the pots don’t block that much light. (Despite the blinds being closed in the picture so that the pots weren’t backlit, I always have the blinds open during the day to get as much light as possible in the house.) I assigned the big frying pans/skillets to the outer edge on hooks that keep them perpendicular to the window so they block as little light as possible.
I haven’t gotten in to FB either. I keep in touch with the people I want to keep in touch with via email. I have my blog. Other than that, I don’t really want people being able to find or follow me thankyouverymuch.

Just another day in paradise here. I came home and made some chickie noodle soup from the boiled remains of last week’s chickie. Daughter has gone to class. \*\*FCD \*\*is watching TV. I’m going to assume the knit position soon.
Temps got into the 60s today - I even opened the house for a little while! Of course, they’re using the “S” word for next weekend… 😛
That’s all I got. Happy Monday. Now where’s my chocolate??

I’s stuffded! We had Chicken Marsala tonight cause we hadn’t tried it at the good Eyetalian place yet. We’ve been orderin’ a different thing each time we go to eat our way through the menu. So far, no disappointments! Plus, **N.O.L.** (though he would be tasty!) for tomorrow to boot!

Finally home. It’s rather miserable out. Rain in the afternoon, snow this evening, albeit nothing worth moaning about. Mostly it’s the moisture in the air making it feel colder and miserabl…er.

Me again. Just did friend requests on Facebook to all the people I wasn’t friends with already. I don’t play games on there because I already spend too much time online, but it’s fun to read what people are doing and periodically add an update. (I’m going to try to do more updates; just not there yet.)
Sitting here watching episodes of Scarecrow and Mrs. King on SlashControl. I think they have pretty much the whole series. They also have Spenser for Hire. A really young Kramer is in the episode I’m watching right now.

Yep, **swampy** , I had planned to not get dressed today unless they called or something else came up. But they did, so I cleaned up and went out.
Everything looks so sharp and I swear my depth perception is better. My eyes were achy for a couple of hours but seem to be okay now. I know it’s not a huge thing – aside from my never really liking my previous frames – but wow!
Now if I could only find out from the people who design frames why they like making these skinny ones that look neat but are impossible to see out of. There were a couple of walls of them at the eye place. Have they never worn glasses for anything besides looks? How can anybody put up with that small a field of vision? (Seriously, if anybody has an answer, enlighten me. I tried on a few pairs like that but I knew they would drive me insane. I ended up with a pair a bit bigger than my previous ones, another thing I like about them.)

Sorry to hear your news, **Pugs** , but please take a few days to just do nothing and enjoy some time off.
I went to a Burn’s Night on Friday and had a blast. They served Vegetarian Haggis, which is a bit of an oxymoron, but it does smell better than the real stuff. I had some Harp’s lager, which I found divine. I’m not much of a beer drinker (make that not at all), but this was quite smooth and refreshing.
Note to FB people: I still am clueless as to who some people are, but figured I’d be friendly. I don’t send drinks back and forth or get involved in pillow fights or make farms etc. I do play Scrabble. \
I have forgotten the rest of what I wanted to say. Typical. It’s snowing here and has turned colder. It was 47 this weekend and all the snow melted.
I am having trouble falling asleep every night recently. Pray to Morpheus (is is Morpheus?) that I get some shut eye tonight. Thanks.

I’m with ya, sister!! It seems like a battle to get a pair of specs with a decent size lens. I have an appointment on Friday, and I am NOT looking forward to shopping for new frames. But I do hate hate hate the ones I have, so here’s hoping…
