The question is what did he have to do during the _preparation_ for the Inauguration, and the answer is pretty much everything. You’re actually see of the results of that more important work today, with the Draft Executive Order to close Guantanamo, for instance, and the order to reverse Bush’s moronic gag orders on abortion counselling.

And there is noticing when someone says something insensitive about you, and not ‘white’-washing it. It’s not like we’re saying he’s a total bigot who should be censured. Just annoyed about it enough to chat about it on a message board.
