Except that there is nothing inherent about that greed that made our lives better. These people did not make our lives better because they were greedy, they made our lives better by providing technological advances that change the world. That they benefitted themselves in the process is no surprise, but it’s incredibly easy to greedily make yourself richer by harming society. Greed is not good. Technological advancement is. Learn the difference.

The money never does trickle down. It gets stashed in offshore accounts.
Is that 50 employees, or 50 full-time-equivalents? (30 hrs a week) IIRC it’s 50FTE which means that’s going to be one helluva huge and busy bar if it’s impacted by the ACA.
And, the penalty is calculated only on the number of actual Full-Time Employees, not the part-timers who made up the FTE.
If your bar runs 1500 man-hours a week, maybe you can afford to give some sort of health care coverage.
I don’t see what the big deal is. Employers have been pulling this crap for centuries.
