The scenarios described in this thread are of a conflgration, where one shot ignites a firestorm.

The incident you link to is one person getting shot, with one shot fired.

Your missing my point. I wasn’t saying he was well educated about this issue, In fact I acknowledged that your education in this area was far superior. I was saying that there was no reason to believe that his level of understanding of the issue was well below that of the average gun toting white supremacist. And that if he didn’t know the difference how can you assume every single one of them would.

I don’t. But we let them have jobs, drive their kids to school, and go to the movies on Saturday nights without being sure that they have this knowledge.

Check the Redneck Revolt website. The John Brown Gun Club are a project of the organization. The Phoenix group is listed as being affiliated with them. Right there on that main page is

Donate to the John Brown Solidarity Fund, to support anti-fascist community defense groups nationwide.

There’s also a report from the individual group in the picture protesting a MAGA rally in March while armed.

We carried in formation with an armed contingent of the Arizona Brown Berets, and in solidarity with Anti-Fascist Action Phoenix.

So they are overtly raising funds for anti-fascist groups and working in solidarity with anti-fascists. Call them what you will.
