# A question about Cecil

Under the General Questions link it is written: “Got a question for the Teeming Millions (and possibly Cecil)…”.  
Is this just a bit of promotion to get us in here? Has anyone ever witnessed Cecil reply to a post and if so, what was his handle?  
Just curious…

Cecil has replied to posts on occasion, under the name “Cecil Adams” of course. It’s kind of an effort to get to him read the Boards, depends on his moods. It’s harder to get him to write something on the boards, when he’s not being paid for it.
