Sorry if I’m breaking any rule by asking but from Tuba’s short announcement it didn’t seem as if there were a sock or troll involved so here goes. I didn’t see the thread myself. Could someone expand on ‘people were being bashed and it isn’t allowed here.’ I don’t quite follow. People are bashed all the time here: outsiders anywhere in the forums and members in the Pit. What was different about this thread? I have no axe to grind here, just curious. ---

The last time I saw the thread, someone had just popped in to post that they thought child porn laws were stupid, and that they actually helped someone hide their child porn via encryption, due to feeling sorry for them. Knowing how strongly people feel on the subject, it wouldn’t surprise me if someone’s personal information was leaked as an attack, or at least that threats of violence weren’t used. Those aren’t even allowed in the Pit. You can’t even _wish_ for it to happen. Obviously, I will not even tell you which poster it was. In fact, I don’t remember. My shoddy short term memory is good for something. ---
