It seems appropriate, at this time, to mention a few things: 1. Thanks be to Jerry Davis, and anyone else who had anything to do with the Incredible Board Speedup! 2. If the past is any indication, the suddenly increased ability of the Straight Dope’s server, software, etc. to handle the traffic the Teeming Millions generate here, will be consumed by increased traffic, before we know it. So: 3. I’m still rooting for the CR to institute some means of generating revenue from us SDMB members, since some sort of positive correlation between traffic and revenue is the only way to keep the hamsters supplied with meth, long-term. 🙂 But I’ll stop joggling your elbow for a little while, guys.
