\*\*swampy \*\* - I graduated from the real Purdue campus too - well, I never exactly attended graduation, but I do have a diploma - so are you proud of me?? š
And I donāt know if making ice cream is a southern thing, but it definitely wasnāt a thing in my family or among my acquaintances. I had homemade ice cream once - I think when I was in Memphis?? But the actual making will be a first for me.

I think it is southernāwe used to handcrank our own ice cream when I was a little girl, but we never did so once we moved up to IL.
I am home from work. The first day of Sophomore year was a good one for #1 son. Havenāt heard from daughter yet. #2 son starts 4th grade tomorrow.
Work was great per usual, but I have to do it again AND againāthis 0430 thing is gonna get old. And it was raining again this morning. Now itās sunny and hot/humid as India during the monsoons. I HATE this weather. If I wanted to experience south Texas weather, Iād live there. No nap today-- I couldnāt fall asleep. My legs hurt too badly. Sometimes they ache right before my period. Arenāt you glad you know that about me now?
Kudos, gasps, hugs, head shakes etc to all as appropriate.

What I canāt understand is why Purdue has [a drink](http://www.globalgourmet.com/food/foodscpe/resources/cocktails/boilmake.html) as its school name. Thatās just weird!
Ok, couple things I forgot. **Taters** I got the email. Hee! Funnneee! Iāll be doinā my best to spread it around on this side of the country.
Also, since mowinā was mentioned earlier, I mowed after I got home from work today. I figured I couldnāt possibly smell any worse than I already did so I mowed my yard. Iām glad cause weāre supposed to get rained on tomorrow and probably Friday. Actually it was thunderatinā in the distance a little earlier but I donāt think it means anything.
Ok, off to lie upon le bed and watch me some teevee in preparation for sleepy bye time. Iām all alone tonight. _SOB_ Olā yāall know who has some work stuff to get done, poor thing.

Once upon a time when I was a student at Purdue, I went for a walk - from the north end of the city to the south. I think it was 6 miles. Surrounded by corn. Nope, not a lot to do there.
Iām all showered and clean, and in about 30 minutes, Iāll don my work togs and head out the door. Oh yeah. Fun. woo. hoo. yay.

I had sketti with shrimp and tomatoes. I have had the donwanna today, too. Oh well, after this weekend, I deserved it.

Despite the fact that you speak Hebrew, English and geek, I do think I understood you the first time, since I canāt find any new information here. I guess my question was. . .why didnāt they think that it would affect something in your system if they changed the settings? And now that you changed the settings back, does it affect their other systems?

My work has been challenging again lately. Not quite as stressful as it was earlier in the year, but still rather annoying. I am _so_ looking forward to being on vacation!!!

I have nothing significant to add, so Iāll add something mundane
My Very Own Annoying CowOrker[sup]TM[/sup] has applied for a position elsewhere in the company, away from me, so yay!. HOWEVER, she has already been replaced by an Even More Annoying CowOrker[sup]TM[/sup]. Fortunately, he starts his shift at 5pm so I only have to deal with him for half an hour. \
That is all.

They call them āpreview nightā here - itās the night before school starts when each school opens up so the moms & dad can sign up for PTO, kids meet their teachers, etc. We have 12 elementary schools in the district, and they spread the nights out over this whole week.
So, every night this week, except Friday Iām sitting at a table surrounded by squealing kids, parents and explaining Bus Stuff to people - giving them their bus stops if they donāt already know - stuff like that.
Tonight was ok - only an hour long.
And nowā¦beer.
Though that homemade ice cream sounds good.

\*\*anyrose \*\*if you cut your french fries chunkier they are even more healthy. Oh and if you add ketchup thatās tomatoes which is a fruit and if you have em with salt and vinegar then thatās good too cos vinegar comes from grapes which is a fruit. Not too much salt though cos thatās unhealthy.
Actually can we not call them french fries and call em chips like Og intended?

Its called a car. We are very yankeeād up on the Tube. But I hope Benny Hill doesnāt ride on my train or at least not on the front car. Its bad enough with the zombies and the bats down there without corpses hanging around too.
