I had Dr Death for one lot of lectures in part 1A maths for natural scientists. Dreadful. He mumbled into his beard and wrote utterly illegibly.
That’s the chap!
Dr Death is indeed still lecturing. Praise be to Om that I took complex methods last year, so I don’t endure him this term. 
Now lets just hope someone else lectures general relativity next year…
My complaint wasn’t about bad lecturers - I’d never stop complaining if it was (there are those who argue that I don’t ever stop complaining… but that’s another matter). My complaint is that they can’t find us decent lecturers for courses which are:
a) vital, so it’s important we learn them well.
b) fundamental, so they should have a wide range of people qualified to lecture them.
I strongly suspect I won’t get my desire to do part III beaten out of me. I like maths far too much… Almost to the point of masochism really.
