# A response to Scylla that I can't make in MPSIMS

While we’re pointing out **Scylla** ’s particular brand of wrongness and nonsense, here’s the recent one involving me, once again: after [I demonstrated](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=21764100&postcount=583) that his blame of the Democrats for last year’s government shutdown is false, with a factual timeline with cites that demonstrate the falseness of his argument, he [conveniently just so happens to decide that I’m not arguing fairly](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=21764337&postcount=595), and runs away from the discussion. As another poster said in response:
