A-Rod to the Yankees?

While I would never say that Boston is a favorite (I would have to go into Witness Protection if I did), I absolutely agree on this point. We still have basically no pitching, what with Andy and that fat bastard going to Houston (in my defense, I have always hated Clemens, not just b/c of the 'stros thing) and no Wells. As many teams prove time and time again, you win the game with pitching. You can’t rely on your team scoring 14 runs every game!

Well, true - Of course the Beaneaters can’t be considered a favorite even when they are up by two and the other team is down to their final strike . . . :smiley:

Considering all the money the Rangers spent after giving ARod that contract, it’s hard to argue that it was the contract preventing them from building a championship caliber bullpen.
