A Rose for Emily...in Canada

Reminds me of Faulkner’s “A Rose for Emily.” Hope someone puts this lady in the nuthouse before she goes after a handsom construction worker! :wink:

Yes, saw this on the morning Vancouver news before going to work…they interviewed some of the neighbours who used to see the old man out for short walks, and wondered where he had gone for the last two years. They knew the daughter had a disability, and did not speak English well (family emigrated from Hong Kong), so most assumed he had gone into care.

One neighbour said they thought it was odd that she kept the windows wide open all year round…

Sad. I hope she gets the help she needs.
