Happy Birthday! Ex! Iffen you don’t mind, I won’t sing this time. 'Sides **Swampy** already did. I think mayonnaise on DVDs is just icky, so it’s a good thing you just got the DVDs. I don’t like Brussel Sprouts, 'cause to me they taste kinda bitter. So add that to the foods I don’t like: oysters, rhubarb, **brussel sprouts,** raw fish, I think there was sumpin else, but I don’t remember, 'cause I’m old. Older than **FCM** an **Swampy** , but not older then both of 'em put together. (You’l notice I’m not even gonna try for a joke about puttin **FCM** an **Swampy** together) I was going somewhere with this, but I’ve forgotten that too. ---

Happpy Birthday **Ex!** _Master and Commander_ is a good movie. I really enjoyed it. I don’t like brussels sprouts either. I like **Swampy’s** name for 'em. I think I’ll use it from now on in, iffen he doesn’t mind. I do, however, like spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and mushrooms. Oh, and ripe bananas just don’t taste sweet to me. They just taste…I dunno…_funny_, and have some overwhelming blechy taste to me. 'Course, that’s just me. ---

Hey, I just noticed, nobody answered my question about what ripeness nanners to use in nanner sammiches. Helloooooo? Am I being ignored? It’s most definitely bitter cold outside today. My hands feel like two lumps of ice and I’m having a hard time typing. ---

It is Friday afternoon and this thread has been at the top of the page every time I have refreshed. I’m think this may be due to **Rue** ’s decision to start the thread off with a story involving food. Of course, part of it has to be due to eveyone wishing **Exgineer** (I don’t post enough to just call him **Ex** ) HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Either way, I believe this has been one of the most popular MMPs to grace this board in a long time. Oh, to follow up on **Swampy’s** (he seems so kind that you can’t help call him **Swampy** …but I wouldn’t dare call him **Angel Pants** ) instructions for me to try flavored chips on the nanner sammich, I found that using dill chips makes for a very interesting taste. Not something I’d go out of my way to get, but not something I’d turn down immediately. I highly recommend that everyone do further testing on their on. -Belz ---

I like broccoli; I eat it a lot. With mayonnaise, even. I don’t like brussel sprouts or cauliflower, but will eat them if I have to. Bananas with any green on them taste starchy to me. I like them fully yellow to yellow-brown. Hi, Opal. I can’t believe there are people gullible enough to try a banana and mayonnaise sandwich. With or without chips. I need to put on my list of life long accomplishments: **Didn’t get kicked out of Whitey’s Fish Camp** I have, however, been kicked out of bars. But that’s a story (actually a bunch of em) for another time. **FCM** informed us over at Skip’s place that the chandelier is in her laundry room. I think that’s lovely! **BelZarak** I am so proud you’re experimenting with nanner sammiches. Plain chips are still best but I kinda liked the dill pickle taste too. Jalapeno flavored chips are also kinda nice. A combo sweet and hot taste. **Taters** many of my friends have taken to calling brussels sprouts fart blossoms. Even those who _shudder_ like em. The first time I called em that in front of ACBG he lost it at the Hog Trough all you can eat buffet we were at. We’re going through the line and I said, “Look! They got fart blossoms today.” Thought the poor ol’ critter was gonna pass out from laughing. He doesn’t like em either. Tonight we’re meeting friends at Long Horn Steaks. It’s for a birthday dinner. Not a 50th one though. I don’t like Long Horn’s much but the bday girl gets to pick so I’m goin’. The one here once got a real horrible score on their restaurant inspection. Among the things listed was “slime mold inside drink dispensers.” :eek: I’m drinking beer from a bottle myself. The local paper publishes scores from restaurant inspections along with the reports.
