Happy Hump Day! Another chilly morning, it’s 54 degrees outside. The windows are open, great sleeping weather, but cold when I get out from under the blanket. I don’t know why Ripple does this, but everytime my son puts him out, he has to run in and bump me with his nose to let me know he’s back. Not so bad during the day, but not so nice at 4am when his nose is cold and I’m asleep. At least he seems to be equally attached to both of us. Shar Pei are known for being one person dogs. I’m glad you are having a great time **WetOne**. I need to order groceries today, should have done it yesterday. I hate grocery shopping, even though all I do is order online and go pick them up. Other than that, SSDD. ---

Juliet Jr.'s last day of school for the year. I’m taking a half day, since there’s no after school program, school gets done early, and our summer nanny doesn’t start until tomorrow. But I’m going to be productive. I’m going to the DMV to get my license renewed, going to the dermatologist, getting groceries, and making mini Oreo cheesecakes for work tomorrow. **Wetone** , sounds like you’re having a great time! ---

Winnie the Pooh says, “Bother”…& he only wears a shirt. Just sayin’. :o Cut my run a bit short last night because I was getting a blister. I was the third car from the bar; I was going back to my car to get my phone & money but just barely made it to the car before the heavens opened up, so I guess sore foot was a good thing. Found out the reason when I got home; I ran right thru the socks as they’re now good golf socks (a hole in one), which is _why_ the foot wasn’t feeling too good - there was no sock between it & the shoe. Did a load of lawn dairy this morning & finally got caught up as I folded two dozen shirts (& then found two brand new ones once I was done). :smack: Even put most of them away already. Go me. ---

We supped upon shrimp 'n grits, broccoli, and sallit. 'Twas very nummy! Have I mentioned that OYKW had never had shrimpies 'n grits before the first time I made 'em for him. OK, I made 'em for me too, but it was his first time. He highly approved. 😃 **MetalMouse** we should both accomplish mowage tomorrow. I’d start this evenin’ but it’s dang hawt out right now. I don’t know where the motivation came from, but I whacked some tall grass, then mowed the ditch and drove ol’ Johhny D around the front yard. \*\*FCD \*\*mowed in the back earlier, so most of our yard looks respectable. Supper will be baked ziti - it’ll be ready in about 10 minutes. \*\*Nut \*\*- You offer the prince a high five accompanied by a hearty “What’s shakin’, Chuckster??” I’m pretty sure I read that in “Dealing with Royalty for Dummies” 😃 Why isn’t it Firday?? ---

How did the tea go **wet one**? I finally figured out why my back and hips have been hurting this week. The weekend guy took it upon himself to have a [del]jacked up [/del] cobbled job of repairing my chair. He didn’t like the fact that one of the arms couldn’t be lowered, so when a similar chair came into maintenance with the cannister shot, he had them put the seat on the cannister of my chair. This seat had no lumbar support whatsoever, leaving me gimpy and in pain for two days. Today, I took a chair from an empty desk, told my boss why and didn’t limp when I walked the looooooong trip out through security. I figure that I might even be sleeping well by the end of the week. ---

The very nice people who help me by cleaning my house were here today. I threw open the door to 'Beamer’s room and asked them for help. After a few minutes of shocked horror (and time for the bats and whatnot to clear out), it got cleaned. We got 4 trash bags full out of there and an entire shelf worth of dishes.
