> [@Gedd](#): > > They also had a “A Phineas and Ferb Family Christmas” where they decided they liked Christmas, and it would be cool to do a Christmas special in the summer. > > My three-year-old in on a P&F kick right now, it’s one of the few cartoons these days that my wife and I also enjoy. Great songs, clever writing, and a secret agent platypus. Plus we all learned what an aglet is. With special guest star Kelly Clarksen! ---

Every time I hear that theme song my mind starts substituting slightly darker lyrics and images. Making a mummy (the unwilling still living Baljeet!) Blowing up the Eiffel Tower Exploding nanobots Phineas finding Frankenstein’s brain in a jar labeled Abby Normal instead of on the ground. Candace tied to a chair ala the beginning of Robot Chicken for the ‘driving my sister insane’ part. (with tentacles emerging from Ferb’s mouth and eyes… ) [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/a-sdmb-summer-lament-with-apologies-to-dan-povenmire-and-jeff-swampy-marsh/625734.md?page=1)
