# A secret about aluminum foil and plastic film wrap dispensers

Wonder when they started doing the tabs, because in all my 52 years I’ve never seen them. There’s none on my Saran Wrap, none on the Cutrite Waxed Paper, but there were tabs on the Reynolds aluminum foil. We’ll see how it works next time I use foil.

I read about it on here a month or so ago and gave it a try. In the end I got in trouble with my girlfriend, and rightfully so, because it makes it more difficult to remove the product.

I’m not an engineer, but have suffered from the same sort of design overANALysis that engineers are often guilty of wherein rigorous critical modes of thought are applied to that best approached outside the box.  
Apologies for the noodge, but your workarounds sort of prove the point.
