I suppose I have some secrets, but I have never shared them with anyone and don’t feel the need to start now. Some things and memories are best forgotten, or at least tucked away. The reasons for doing so may vary. Those of us who have our pic in SD and have a username that closely resembles who we are, cannot say that we are anonymous here. ---

Not that anyone would be interested in any of my secrets (well, there are maybe one or two), but I couldn’t do this. I’ve posted enough on here that anyone who knew me IRL would definitely be able to identify me. I’ve sometimes wondered whether a certain other poster is my brother - but I don’t dare to ask him because if it is, I \*know \*him and he would go back and read all my posts to see if there are any juicy bits. Also, my SO isn’t a Doper but knows my name. ---

I know secrets of other people that I will take to my grave. They told me in confidence and I would never share them with anyone else, or specifically admit that I knew if confronted. (Like, 'Hey, did you know that…") My secrets? I don’t really have any. I live under the rule you don’t do or say anything you don’t want everyone to know about, because someone will find out, and then everyone will know. ---

Isn’t there some kind of meme out there that under anaesthetic you feel everything but can’t move or do anything about and the drug also makes you forget all this. So you experience something horrible then forget it happened. ---
