I used to think the Pit was a terrible addition to this board. But now I see it serves a useful purpose: It drops the veil on people and lets you see who they truly are when given permission to be as nasty as they want. So far, it’s not pretty. ---

That Durham thread, omg, I don’t know if there was a bigger case of intellectual self-flagellation than that one. Everything you said was wrong. Every prediction you made turned out not to pass. Nothing, nothing you said was correct. And you? Don’t even have the balls to admit you were wrong. That’s OK. That’s what we are here for. ---

I’ve always thought @Sam_Stone would be more the unkempt greasy haired type with a sad little neck beard and food stains on his clothes since his mother refuses to do his laundry anymore even though he still lives in her basement. ---

On the other hand, I’m actually 6’0", 205 lbs, I can still run a couole of miles at 59 and I have a black belt in Karate and ride motorcycles and fly airplanes for fun. But my mother died six years ago, and I haven’t lived with her since I moved to another city for college 40 years ago. But other than that you are spot on. I sometimes have stubble. ---
