I was fascinated to read the thread about the US economy, and how the perceptions of this can effect Biden’s chances of re-election. It was particularly interesting to read about how the high price of milk in Alberta enters into this discussion. Did I say interesting? I meant really, really stupid. Like low brain activity stupid. How anyone would think this is vaguely relevant to the discussion I will leave as an exercise to the readers. There’s a whole lot of other stupid assertions in that thread, but this one sets the bar pretty low. ---

Why don’t you look up my comments here? I have mentioned it before on this board. And if serving on the board of a daycare and chairing it for a couple of years while my kid was there makes me some kind of Renaissance man, well… woo hoo! Back off, peasants. Or, you know, it’s a fairly normal thing for a suburban parent to do. Why the scare quotes around “Canadian”? You think I am lying about the country I live in? Or maybe that Canada isn’t a real country? You lost me on that one. ---

Nope. It’s called being a good citizen, and also making sure that the daycare your kid is in is run properly. Not even an honorarium that I recall. Maybe dollar for legal purposes or simething. ---
