Uh huh. You could always leave it you don’t like it. I mean, that’s what I keep being told. But I’m not the one being constantly triggered and freaked out by an opinion I don’t hold, or running to the pit every time someone says something I don’t like. There must be safer spaces for you out there, if the SDMB isn’t pure enough for your fragile world view. Mind you, that might limit your ability to circle around and punch down at the people greatly outnumbered on this hoard. And that’s the fun part, isn’t it? ---

Have we reached the “more trouble than they’re worth” threshold for a ban yet? I mean, @gyrate just called out (sadly, the quotes bypassed my ignore) a multitude of factually incorrect information that Sam has shared (derailing/hijacking threads in the meantime) despite repeated debunking, in a multitude of threads. Even if we can’t get a ban, perhaps the mods should be considering a topic ban as Sam has proven to the point of (my) nausea that they are unwilling or incapable of debating in good faith on any topic that touches “liberal” interests. ---

Amusing to see so many false statements when Sam is trying to demonstrate that Biden is dishonest. In this thread Sam repeats lies from the Comer GOP committee about the Bidens’ finances: ["House to start an impeachment inquiry into President Biden" - #178 by iiandyiiii](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/house-to-start-an-impeachment-inquiry-into-president-biden/989995/178) Post 190 in that thread identifies some of the specific lies Sam spread – in particular a bizarre one about a nonexistent Biden granddaughter. Would people still give you crap for your beliefs? Of course they would. If you posted on a message board that had mostly vegans and talked about how much you love eating meat, they’d give you crap there too. But you wouldn’t be treated as badly as you are treated because you aren’t honest. That isn’t just a line of bullshit people use as an excuse to persecute you. It’s real. ---
