The funny thing was that I found them not because I was going for a gotcha, but because I was doing my due diligence before posting something. With all the talk of bullying in these two threads (this one and the HBDC thread), I wanted to see if you or HBDC had taken a stance WRT bullying in an older thread about the subject. In any case, searching for that managed to pick up the baseball game version. As for the due diligence, I wanted to make sure there wasn’t a divorce/remarried part that would have explained the lack of consistency between the two stories, but instead I found the Warren Zevon version. I had no intention of posting anything when I found the first two, but finding a third version, that was not only different, but didn’t even mention any of the elements from the other two convinced me that you’re making stuff up.
