I don’t think he’s gay. He does that predator thing a little to well. But he still pings my gaydar like mad every time. ---

Remember, he was a bigwig in the music industry for years before he became a tv star. Was he in the closet then? Or has he persuaded everyone who knew him to keep schtum? The British thing is interesting to me. I guess I never noticed it before. I don’t think I ever noticed a British guy being more or less likely to be gay based on their British background. If that’s true, I may be way off. Thanks, **even sven** for at least validating the “gaydar” feeling, even if it’s not true. And no, I’ve never been to the Bally’s on Webster in Chicago. I find Simon’s shirts to be so un-heterosexual. I don’t expect the man to wear flannel, but his pec/nipple shirts are just skeevie to me. Then again, I don’t have pecs like that. ---

Not gay. As someone said upthread, he’s an asshole, not catty. Gay cutdowns have more of an edge than Cowell tends to have. He’s blunt, not sharp. ---
