I don’t actually give false opinions, but in the case of the “nits make lice” comment, I was offended by the “Support Palestinian Guerillas” thread. Rather than personally attack the poster (which is worse IMO), I posted the exact opposite opinion. Clearly, posts intended just to piss people off are not discouraged in the Pit, thus the “Clint in Wichita is a Jackass” thread. I’m serious about apologizing. Once this thread dies down, I intend to be much more selective about which threads I post in, and what I say. Not because of pressure or intimidation, but because I am admittedly wrong. ---

I must say that I saw the same thing **Aslan** saw and likely the same thing an Admin may see in the next few minutes/hours. Having a sock-puppet, as was already stated, is a bannable offense. ---

Hey now, cut **some** slack. He did say that it is his wife’s account. I have one o’ them, and I can see how it can happen. He also posted immediately to apologize. **Clint** , a quick fix is to use a different browser than your wife. **hyperjes** is an IE type of girl, whereas I’m a Netscape/Mozilla man. Don’t count down on him yet, he actually seems to be trying. ---

The suspicion is, **clint** , that you created a sock to join the discussion, then posted in your **clint** persona, forgetting you were signed in as the sock. Belatedly realizing that, you had to justify what happened. Now I’m not saying that’s what you did. But it surely gives the appearance of you having done that. Occam’s razor, and all that.
