FWIW, andrew, before you even started this thread (which I think was a bad idea and you should probably ask to have it closed) I was thinking about starting a pit thread suggesting that you cool it with the new threads for a while. People will be more receptive to participating in your threads if you participate in theirs. I.e., your posting record suggests you’re far more interesting in hearing your own voice than others’. It would also go a long way to your “education” as a doper to turn the “listen” knob up a little, and the “talk” knob down. Balance dude, balance. ---

Never mind, let’s not bicker over this point anymore. ---

15 THREADS IN THREE DAYS!! Christ, even I wasn’t that bad. This thread is starting to hurt my head: you said in this thread, bla bla bla, but check post 43 of this thread, and you’ll realise I was refering to something that I linked to that day, which bears no relevance to post 66 of this thread. I don’t think it’s appropriate to have public discussions asking people graphic details about their sex lives. At least not here. I am sure there are forums that support that, and the young man is old enough to go to those websites. I’m no prude, but I generally don’t expect people to behave any differently here than they would in normal company. Among my social milleu, people do not enquire of one another what they think about while waxing their tadpole, or whether or not they “stem the rose,” if I can borrow a phrase from a recent movie. Nor did this seem to be the sort of web board that encouraged such discussions, which are pretty far removed from fighting ignorance. Just my opinion as a customer, of course. Whatever the admins decide to do is their business.
