I am MORE than familiar with my body. I write about sex, sexuality and knowing your body and playing safely for a living. I have a vagina, I was outraged by your level of misinformation and even thought it had been covered, I felt it needed to be covered again because - like it or not as past posting shows - sometimes you don’t get the message first time around. I likely know a lot about anal sex and could’ve answered the OP with some really solid information, but you’d already derailed it by then, and I was convinced you needed some schoolin’ about the female anatomy before you explore anything that folks might call “alternative” sex or play. Unless you’re gay, in which case, good on ya, but I still think you need a human sexuality class because your basic level of misinformation is absolutely frightening. I have no beef with anyone sincerely trying to learn something, but when you make statements like you did which need no repeating here that were so misguided, so wrong, and so painfully ignorant, you really put my back up in a lather. That kind of misinformation can be dangerous not only for you, but anyone you become involved with. In my book, such a frightening level of willful ignorance equates with idiocy. (hint - Wikipida, despite many claims by the scientific community as to it’s scientific information veracity, is NOT a good source for sex information. May be a nice place to start but there are better resources.) Do yourself and any potential mates a favor and become educated - hell, even read a few books that I would be happy to recommend that address the topics and are fun and sexy to read. Apology accepted, but I learned my lessons LONG ago - and sometimes they were painful ones. But I learned 'em. And - just for the record - my mother works for the church. And has almost my entire life, either teaching, or within the administration of a see or overseeing the funds for an archdiocese. If she was ever on a street corner, it was because she was ringing a bell for Salvation Army or raising funds for a church benefit. She would forgive you for what you said, because she is a good woman who believes in forgiveness. I, however, am not so active in the church these days and likely will not be so forgiving next time. If you found me preachy, I apologize, but it’s my job to educate people on these topics. Insult me all you want - I’m an adult and I said what I said, but insulting my family really shows a lack of imagination. Take the advice of others here and stop tilting at windmills, already. You’re doing yourself no favors, and I have no honest desire to see you flame out, but you’re walking the line. Step back from it and honestly look at some of the advice you’ve been given - a lot of it has MUCH merit. Good luck. Inky ---

Now, when things turned ugly is when andrewdt85 made an extremely ignorant statement regarding vaginas, otherwise known as squishy joy-joy places. Quite correctly, numerous posters jumped up to correct his error. Now, personally I think many of the responders would have been better served by being informative rather then derisive but this was not Great Questions and really, what can you expect. Andrewdt85 apologized and… well crap never mind, he admitted extreme ignorance but that was about it. Sorry, I somehow remembered there being an apology there followed by numerous other posters continuing the attack. As it stands, there was an admission of total ignorance in regards to all things involving lovely plumbing, but the only specific retraction made involved “where pee comes from” and not the libel that squishy joy-joy spots were foul, infected, fish-markets. This was of course followed by a poopy-head comment that would have been excusable if in fact Andrewdt85 had already apologized as it was there really isn’t much benefit of the doubt to go around. Now that I’ve wasted mine and everyone else’s time I would like to say one thing. The “snark” has always been a part of the boards but it seems to me that of late posters are getting more of their jollies from attacking the ignorant than from curing them. ---

I opened a few of his many threads, found them uninformative and unentertaining, and went on to other things. As for ignoring advice, I’d say that is a way of life at this board. Most members, including me, are just full of advice to other members on how they should better behave themselves. The thing is, I don’t see too many members who actually want to follow advice. Ignoring directives from one of the mods is bannable, ignoring advice from other members is a nonissue. These mob scenes are probably where our members are most frequently on their worst behavior. The mods will ban **andrewt85** , or not, as they see fit. Either way, it is unlikely they will let regular members in on the process. So showing up in these threads to screech for blood and heap invective is, at best, unproductive. At worst, it could be characterized as taking shots at someone because he isn’t going to have much of an opportunity to shoot back. As I mentioned in my first post to this thread, one of my favorite parts of these mob scenes is the “you’ll _never_ be one of us” tone to many of the posts. I relish the way those posts express a smug satisfaction at being part of the group while looking down on the outsider (read: loser). ---

Jeeee-sus. Wow. Dude, man, you need to chill. And learn to take the words of others, posted semi-anonymously on an Internet message board, less personally. See, IMO, this board is snark - it defines snark, it exudes snark. Snark is embedded in its very soul. But it’s not personal snark. We snark at ideas, at opinions, at bad art, at ignorance, but we rarely snark at the individual. And that’s why I love this board. However, there are people that can’t tolerate the snark, who take the snark personally (when it really isn’t). And they flame out. Or there’s the poster who tries to emulate the snark, but does it badly. These posters snark at the individual. And that doesn’t fly around here. **Frank** called your post puerile. He’s exactly right. The problem with your buttfucking thread was not the question itself, but rather your tone. When I read it, I thought, “Great. Another poster who’s trying to speak for all women, telling us that he knows what’s best.” I read the post as “c’mon ladies - you just have to try it! I know you’ll like it! I think I’d like it, if I wasn’t a penis hating male, that is.” That doesn’t work - we’re all individuals, and we know what we like, and no amount of cajoling us to try something we’re not into is going to get us to do it just for your edification. And then you started with the insults - insulting the female body by describing it as a cess-pool, then moving on to insulting posters. Now wonder people took offense. So, in short - don’t take it personally, grow up, and go out and get laid. ---

(Not just yours **What Exit?** ). It seems that everyone is happy to give out their “advice” to **andrewt85** , but not without getting in their own under-the-rug shots at the same time. I mean, why is this thread three pages long already? There might be some ignorance in andrewt85’s postings, but that’s what makes these boards interesting sometimes. When he wrote about the vagina and ‘urine coming out’ I think he was only referring to the area down there and not trying to be technical about it. Because of who he is, everybody jumps on the guy for the comment. Sheeesh. If you’re really that “outraged” and “disgusted” **inky** than how much ignorance can we really be fight when we get our panties all in a bunch (no pun intended). This board isn’t a small town in Utah. It’s a diverse place where the experiences and education levels of everyone varies greatly. Personally, I was glad to see andrewt85 back on the boards. In 10 years, I’m sure he won’t be the same poster as he is today. With the hellp of certain things along the way (like this message board) he could be an entirely DIFFERENT person/poster. But nah, let’s ban him because he posts too often (?) or because he doesn’t insult others with the same “witty” standard that everyone else has… ---
