I’m so sorry about that, **Shadow**. I’m sure it’s one of those helpless feelings that is, I think, one of the most horrible things you can go through. Hugs. Up. Had scrambled eggs with refries, salsa and tortillas for breakfast. Yum. Fixed shower door. (One of the roller thingies had come unscrewed. Hardest thing was finding the two parts. Need to get to the farmers market to get this week’s corn and other goodies. Considering what to do with the rest of my day. It’s supposed to get up to 86. Hot again. :eek: Back later with reports. I hate bibliographies ☹ Trying to smash into place web sources is particularly bad. Author, ehm… doesn’t say. Date, ehm… sometime between 2003 and now… NOTs: Not Our Taters. Potatoes. Oh, and since we have here people who work for Microsoft: I have Office 2010 and when I’ve searched for something and search for something else, the second search starts from the beginning of the document instead of from where I am. There’s probably a way to make it search normally but jeez guys! ---

(((((Shadow))))), I really don’t know what to say, that was a hugely scary thing to happen and I doubt you could have done anything without endangering yourself. **(((((The Bunfather)))))** - good news that he’s ok, cars can be fixed but people aren’t quite so easy. I’ve had a busy day doing errands and stuff. I did go and look at new phones but the phone shops are full of people standing around getting in my way, and the staff just seem uninterested. Online shopping, it’s the way to go. I did look at the phone I was most interested in, so at least I’ve seen the beastie, but that’s about as far as I got. I bought five pairs of socks though…and now I’m pickling cucumbers. I grew some this year, and I have two that need to be dealt with but I can’t eat that much cucumber myself so I have decided to have a go at pickling. Makes a change from pickling my liver, I suppose. ---

**BooFae** you do understand that to pickle cucumbers you need brine and vinegar and not jus take 'em down to the pub right? 😃 Givin’ the ribs a bit more time on the smoker. Just thought they could stand about another 45 minutes which is about up. Then into the slow cooker to stay warm. They smell so smokey ribbed good! ---

Carpet is mostly shampooed - I cleaned the traffic areas and the pee spots. Once it dries, I need to vacuum again - the shampooer gets Bernie hair out of the carpet in clumps. \*\*FCD \*\*has installed the reverse osmosis filter for the aquarium. The way he’s got the setup, we’ll never have to use the trash can for the water change. We can drain and refill with the flip of a few valves and switching on a pump. As long as we dump salt in the day before and turn on the heater so it warms up, we’re golden. I need lunch. And a nap. Or a shower. Except I still have chores to do, so no shower yet. ---

I spent the morning steam cleaning my daughter’s old room, the upstairs hallway, the stairs and the downstairs hallway. I definitely need to do more; the great room, my bedroom and the weight room, but I have to quit for now. I need to toss some clothes in the dryer and take a shower now. We’re supposed to be at a friend’s house in around four hours. ---

Cross posted: Latest Dipsey update: My Dad called me yesterday evening and told me. “That gal came down asking about Dipsey again.” He was in the garage smoking. I came home immediately as I was just down the street, and asked him exactly what happened. (After I put the locking panel into the doggie door.) She said something like, “He’s my dog.” Dad handed her the proof-of-ownership papers, and told her that she would have to talk to me. She said, “Can I take these?” He said no, but she took them anyway! (It doesn’t matter, they were intended to be her copy anyway.) So now she knows. Mr Rebo and I talked about calling the sherriff’s office about her harassing Dad, but we agreed that might be over the top. At least for now. ---
