All righty then - the laundry is done and drying on the line. \*\*FCD \*\*cleaned the garage and we did a trash/recycling run. I’ve got a hunk of meat in the slow cooker for supper - I meant to start it this morning, but I forgot, so it’s on high and I hope it gets done. I was going for pot roast, but I don’t know if that will work out. The sun and warmth is great for my laundry, but we had to close up the house and turn on the air. _bleh_ I need to research tree removal. We’ve got two that need to come down. I expect it might require a second mortgage… ☹ But it’s gotta be done. Oh, the joys of home ownership! ---

I remain at my normal level of heathenation. Spent the latter half of yesterday cleaning. Today was an epic hike around Home Depot looking for either flagpoles or someone who knew were flagpoles were. Wouldn’t it make sense for flags, flagpoles and flagpole brackets to be within arm’s reach of each other? Too simple! The flagpoles were next to patio umbrellas. Maybe because they’re both long skinny things? Flags were in a free-standing “shipper” display next to weed killer and the brackets were with the mailboxes. It makes sense to someone, but not to me. Oh well, I’m off to hang a flag now. ---

Happy Birthday Mr. Onimous! Yay for done dissertation **Nava**! I say you should move too **Shadow**. Lunch was good. They were most appreciative. It beat heck outta hospital cafeteria food or fightin’ the hongry lunchtime mobs anyways. Oh and I did go deheathenate. Just decided I should. So I am now all absolved and stuff. 😃 I need a nappy poo and then later go see JDD Brother at the horsepistol. ---

Whew! Ah’m gettin’ tahred! So far today, I have: Cooked breakfast Cleaned up dishes Washed two loads of clothes Clipped coupons Grocery shopped Put away groceries Made and cooked two pounds of meatballs (for two meals later in the week) Made a pot of vegetable beef soup (‘cuz Dad had a hankerin’ - who cares if it’s still hot outside!) Made a baking dish full of scalloped potatoes ready to go in the oven in five minutes (to go with a big ol’ ham steak) I still need to put away two loads of clothes, and pick a roasted chicken for the meat, for chicken pot pie later this week. It all evens out - Friday I pretty much sat on my ass all day, trying to recover from 11 days in a row of work. I’m hoping this week will be a _leetle_ less stressful. Cute **BBBobbio**. JDD’s Brother is in really good spirits. He says he’ll be better when he gets real food. So for just liquids and Jell-O. He had blue Jell-O. We all decided that blue Jell-O is unnatural and an abomination. I offered to call up and ask if the Jell-O is spoiled because it’s blue. That cracked him up. I’m good at that. 😃 ---
