To get off on the right footing, I present, [Dave Allen.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj6XAvuRn4Q) O how we preach of the sanctity of a child’s life: Form the contentions of the environment our progeny should best be reared in for optimum development – to forming all manner of protective parapets corralling our most precious assets whom upon we must entrust our Earth. Yet, every second of every day, in every corner of this greed girt, war wrought world, billions subject the fragile fruits of their loins, while in their most vulnerable, formative state, to the dastardly defilement of diabolical, dogmatic indoctrination – the noxious neurological cancer we euphemistically dub with morbid affectation, “religion”. Hypocrisy heady beyond the heights of Heaven. We pule puritanical about paedophilia – yet no sexually abused child has every taken a life in the name of their attacker; despite millennia of historical (and theological!) precedent. We lacrimate lakes for the plight of the contrived, Kevin Carter and “baby Aylan” _cause célèbre_, fad-today / forgotten tomorrow, Kodak moments – yet no disenfranchised child enlists, ingrains and trains another to fight for a bent of superstition. We chatter a cacophony in consternation for answers to the myriad adolescent tumults that beset the seeds we sow – yet no angst-fuelled tweenager ever method-acted Dark Ages execution to the rote recitations of religious scripture, without insidious intervention… When will the Gog of insanity be slew to save sanity? When will the Magog of fretful deference be vanquished to honour the lives of the incalculable innocents it has immolated? How many must be pegged at Golgotha before we repent our neglection? How much more potential contribution to the betterment of our existence should be spurned in the esteem of that which has trammelled our species’ progression most…? It’s high time we opened the gates of the sanatorium and let it fill replete with the inmates who have, for so long now - and for no other reason than sheer predatory satiation - been granted unjust dispensation for their dastardly degeneration. We can no longer give up to them our children – not for seven years, not for a moment, not for any longer. We must allow our boys to become men, not warped them into machines of malevolent manipulation. The slings will invariable come, of course. As, too, will the aflame arrows be fired – trained squarely at the soft-hearted tropes of ‘tolerance’, ‘compromise’, ‘comparative good’ and ‘freedom’. But, inalienably, a life saved, only to be turned towards dealings of death, is not a life save at all – but an invocation of corporeal daemons. All good men shall _not_ stand idle, and wormwood _will_ rain. All houses–poxed. Civilisations rent with disdain. For these are the wages of protracted prevarication, Paid forward in prevention of portentous perdition. And when the fulgurant skies do clear, and a new Age of enlightenment is born, Children will thus be cherished, and their minds freed from scorn. “Heaven on Earth”: an idealism hence proved; no longer forlorn. ---
