During my teen years, I managed to date about 5 guys named Dave or David. My SO and my ex both have pale skin, freckles, and reddish hair. Other than that, they look nothing alike, and have little in common. ---

As a matter of fact, I _have_ noticed a pattern in my SOs… A bit of background- I am nearly blind in my right eye. Lazy eye, or whatever it’s called. No biggie, I don’t even think about it anymore. Now for the weirdness: Every girl I’ve dated for any length of time has been blind, or nearly so, in her right eye. I usually don’t find out for a while after we started going out, so it’s not like I only hit on the blind ones… Of course, I might have better luck if I only hit on blind women… 🙂 ---

Well, I technically only had one girlfriend before I got married, all the girls I was involved with before were one-night-stands or ‘friends with benefits’. 1. Short-haired brunette, glasses 2. Long-haired blonde, no glasses 3. Shoulder-length red hair, no glasses 4. Shoulder-length red hair, glasses 5. Long red hair, glasses 6. Shoulder-length blond hair, glasses 7. Short auburn hair, glasses There are some patterns…a lot of girls who wear glasses, not too surprising if you’ve seen me. I think the number of redheads is a bit high, too… ---

hmm…i;ve dated a rather statistically disproportiate amount of “-anie/-any” suffixed girls. “Stefanie, Stephanie, Melanie, Tiffany.” That was all coincidence. I definitely have a thing for foreign women. Currently I’m dating a Hungarian (well, I do live here and all) and Ive dated an honest-to-goodness German and a Pole. Curiously, about half my girlfriends have been vegetarians, and none have been smokers. I, on the other hand, am an almost-a-pack-a-day smoker and heavy meat-eater. ---

For some odd reason, all of the women I hit it off with have a name beginning with either “M” or “K” (or a “C” making the hard “K” sound). I don’t plan it that way, it just happens.
