Well, the kid actually says, “AAAAAAUUOOOOOOOAAAaaaaaaaooooorrrgaaaaaarooooooooooo…” but it translates to “I’m not tired! I’m not tired!” I’m pretty good at translating. Rainy and awful here. I’m doing laundry and wondering about a less rainy time during the day when I could dash out to the store and pick a couple of things up. Oof. Nat awoke crying about 3, and stayed intermittently awake for a couple of hours. I’m sleepy. ---

_stealthily tiptoes in, snatches a cupcake and then darts for an unoccupied corner_ Nom nom nom. Can I go back to bed, pls? I got home around 11:30, but then spent another half hour yapping with The Boy and didn’t get to sleep until after midnight. Plus it’s rainy and dark, which is perfect stay-in-bed weather. Speaking of last night, big ups to our marketing folks for throwing down one heck of a shindig. When we arrived at the theatre, they had all sorts of goodies lined up for the taking (nachos, popcorn, hot dogs, and pop). After the screening, we were led by Carrie lookalikes to the afterparty, where shirtless firemen were on hand to greet us and provide us with a drink ticket and more Carrie lookalikes passed out free cosmopolitans. The only disappointment of the night was that they were out of bitters and couldn’t make me a manhattan (that being the other SATC-appropriate drink, natch - cosmos are too sweet for my liking) (Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention the goody bags at the end, which included a $50 gift certificate for new shoes and another $25 off coupon when spending a minimum of $100 on said shoes!!! I know… like I need an excuse.) Dress photos will be forthcoming, **LiLi** , once they have been posted to Facebook by the camera-wielding members of our party. I vote for **Eels** as our newest mumper’s monicker. But that’s just me. 🙂 I am most amused by the dog-in-shirt photos. I’m half-tempted to try putting a tube sock on one of the kittehs (prolly Ariel, since Morgan is too rotund to qualify anymore), but I think I’d lose an eye in the process. ---

**Nava-** -sounds like someone with poor managerial skills. The work probably gets done despite her. The vaca thing would tick me right off… Well, the puter works, after a fashion. It asks me randomly for my keychain password. When I open mail, 3 windows now pop up: inbox, sent and draft. Never had all 3 open at the same time before. Don’t like it, but I’m not messing with it. No idea if I can GET mail, since I often go for days w/o any. I know I can send, so there is that. Cooler today, but no rain as promised. I have to take #1 son to scuba again today. And #2 to soccer. Oy. Not sure how I’ll spend the day. Certainly, there is housework that needs doing. ---

I love my Mac–love it, love it, love it! It’s a Macbook–but I’m like someone who barely knows how to drive being put behind a Lamborghini or a Bentley. I can make it go, but I cannot appreciate the depths and intricacies of it. I have no idea if I did something, if I should have just waited, if I should have just done a hard boot to start off with and not attempted to “fix” it, or what. I did talk (via Facebook) to a guy I know who’s a Mac aficionado and he said no worries. It’s not the Mac–it’s me. (there are some legitimate complaints about macs, apparently, but I think those are from people who are really, really into computers for work or pleasure). I need to go DO something. Anything. Morning, all. I’m glad **McUne** was available as an early morning minion to provide cupcakes; I was sleeping, after waking up early this morning with my innards all a-churnin’. Apparently something I’d eaten disagreed with me. ☹ Anyway, I got it settled and then went back to sleep for a bit.
