Years ago a stripper gave me her number but I couldn’t be seen writing it down, I had to remember it. I perseverated over actually calling the number like the OP for fears of it being a scam or her wanting money or some such. I was not a big spender, more like a non spender and only go to a strip club every couple of years with friends. I worked up the courage to call and she was apparently on the level and just thought I was cute. We went out a few times and that was it. Nothing too salacious, she was just not that interesting. I say call. What’s the worst that can happen? You hire an attractive poker dealer? ---

yeah this is basically a mobile atm (machine variety) for her, you want a private show, text, pay enjoy. The number is so you can know when she’s working, she wants _your_ money. When a stripper wants something serious, they will always be extremely overt and personal…you will know! And Always remember Paid Sex = Illegal Paid Sex + Camera = Pornography = Legal ---

i was suggesting there may be a relationship if the stripper makes a move that is overt and obviously separate from her job, and implies an emotion connection, but would you be up for dating a stripper is the real question ---

I’m confused as to why being ‘played/promoted’ by the bar owner is vile, but being ‘played/promoted’ by the peeler some how not? Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like they are both working the same side of the street, helping you to spend some green. Preferably with them! Why is the one wicked and exploitive but NOT the hot sexy one. Seems trivial and hairsplitting to me! ---

One thing I have learned from this board is that strippers, porn actors, etc. are NEVER mere white trash, but magical beings of great power upon whom intense adulation, respect and study must be bestowed. (this is the same way Martin Scorsese feels about mobsters, I guess) (ETA: not directed at the OP but at some of the responses.) ---

These women aren’t doing anything illegal, so why rush to accuse them of being white trash due not even the most basic of human respect? There is no other profession where discussion so quickly devolves into accusations of illegal activities outside of work, immorality, or worse. Hell, even male strippers and porn stars don’t don’t get this shit hurled at them, at least not with the frequency that females do. ---

Having determined you are not a danger to her on first glance and presumably have money, she’s offering you services as a stripper for private functions or possibly as an escort. This is not a big mystery, a girl’s gotta eat. ---

I actually dated a couple and had long a LTR with one as a young 20-something year old. The thing is, with each one of those cases, I never gave said girl any money. (Wasn’t really that into lap dances.) Maybe, a dollar or two when they were up on stage but that’s about it. One of those girls I dated specifically told me after we had been dating for a while “I’m so glad you didn’t buy any table dances from me that night. If you had, we wouldn’t be together right now.” ---
