They didn’t ‘blow him away’. They tried to get him to surrender, and he came out shooting. They had no choice but to shoot him. ---

Just to play Paranoid Conspiracy nut for a second here, but do you really expect the soldiers to say, “He was standing there with his arms raised, and we popped him just for the hell of it”? ---
