I feel your pain wrt the underwires poking through. How hard would it be for them to construct the underwire casing out of a sturdier fabric, or a double later of fabric on the edges? I have 5 of my [favorite bra is the world](http://www.herroom.com/Natori-132001-Lace-Trim-Body-Doubles-Contour-Underwire-Bra.shtml) and at $60 per bra, they should at least last a year right? Nope. The underwires are already beginning to poke through ☹ ---

You know one of my biggest irritations aside from finding a bra in my size is finding a swimsuit that has actual cup/band sizes instead of the ever-so-unhelpful shelf bra. Like a freaking shelf bra is going to hold my 40H’s. Gimme a break. ---

I have a friend with a pretty big chest. I’d guess maybe a 32D. When she wears bras, she goes for mega-cheap, super-sag, uniboob type. Once I talked her into trying something on at Victoria’s Secret. TaDa! A waist where there was none before! But she decided it was too slutty and expensive and refused to buy it. What can I tell her, girl to girl, to convince her to buy a bra that fits??? Is it a decision a girl has to come to on her own? ---

(Maybe you could scare her with how her boobs are going to look ten years from now?) Some women don’t care, I suppose. I personally am quite vain and revel in my slutty bras, but that’s just me. 😉 ---

One day at lunch a bunch of department managers were sitting around telling customer stories when the meat packing manager said she had a lady in that morning who was looking for a 36DD padded bra. The rest of the table went :eek: 😕 :eek: :dubious: 🆒 Why we asked. She said she asked the same question. It seems this young lady was a telephone lineman (linesperson?) and was tired of getting splinters in the girls. :eek: ---

I hear ya. I’ve always had a large chest still relatively easy to find something in the stores, but finding one that fits is still tough. It’s amazing how different every bra fits. I went to this lil boutique place that had opened up to get a bra fitting. I had finished nursing our 9 month old and felt like I was back to my pre-pregnancy size and figured I’d go get measured. In 45 mins I musta tried on at least 20 bras. It was insane. The ones with lace, no way. The fitter would come in and say, ‘Oh dear, you’re a full D and just simply won’t work!’ … Alright, then stop bringing those in? Muffinboob top is not attractive, nor is it with lace on it. I ended up buying a bra out of guilt. It felt really nice, but I wanted some more lift. I just shop at Frederick’s. They have this nifty card where if you buy 10? bras you get the next free. I filled up the card in about a 16 months. (It was a bra rebuilding year! 2 strapless then someone to match a dress or 2 I had for formal occassions) Now if they could make those undies fit, LOL. ---
