From the brief glimpses in the trailer - storming a building likely using tear gas (and mask) / shooting down a drone - it looks like they’ll stick with the flimsy no-kill premise. i’ll buy a ticket if they kill at least a few guys – and not Disney Deaths were the bad guy takes a morally convenient plunge to his death owing to his own action. Don’t need a huge body count, but just enough death to show consequences to actions - like shooting off thousands of rounds. You understand **nothing** about the A-Team. Next you’ll start bitching about how B.A. never figured out that they were tricking him into flying every other episode. ---

Just to insert a moment of sanity into this thread… Tanks are heavy; like really, seriously heavy. You would need some ridiculously bigass parachutes to ride one of them down and live to tell about it. ---

I do understand, though. I think staying faithful to the the jeep-flipping-magic-no-kill rule would be horrible in a movie. Of course they need to stay faithful to silly character quirks like B.A’s fear of flying. Of course jeeps should still flip - but three of the four people should not crawl out. I don’t want the flick to be a splatterfest or as gory even as Inglourious Basterds, but it should have a similar treatment of death and violence as, to stick with the theme of campy TV to full-fledged major motion picture, the first Mission Impossible movie. Basically, **I want the A-Team to kill Emilio Estevez inside the first fifteen minutes.** It can be fun, quirky, campy, and faithful - but they should absolutely aim for PG-13 for some intense action violence. ---

I hope they include BA’s welding. Give that guy a torch and plate steel. He often created armored cars, trucks and weapons. Best part of the show for me. ---

Nah, they’ve got to be wrongfully accused good guys who are so good, that they never kill anyone. If they start killing their enemies, even in immediate self defense, they become soulless mercenaries. So yes, when the helicopter crashes into the side of a cliff, then slowly rolls hundreds of feet to the ground, all four passengers must crawl out, shaking their heads and trotting out of range before the chopper explodes. ---

George Clooney would have been perfect! But as I like Liam Neeson, I’ll reserve judgment until I see the movie. Can’t wait - I grew up watching The A-Team and had a huge crush on George Peppard. Loved him in **Banacek**! ---

These were my original choices for casting: Hannibal: George Clooney Murdock: Jim Carrey Face: Brad Pitt B.A.: Will Smith or Ving Rhaimes (sp?) It would’ve only cost about $80 million or so to cast these guys, but it’d recoup it the second week. ---

When I was a kid, we didn’t have a television. The only shows I ever saw were ones I would catch at a friends house occasionally and the one night each week when we went to my grandmother’s house to watch The A-Team as a family. Tuesday nights we’d all go to granny’s and mom, dad, and granny would all sit around the dining room table and chat while the kids would all watch The A-Team. It was our family show that everyone liked. I’m hoping they do a good job with this. Maybe we’ll get the family together to go watch it when it comes out.
