I think this has been discussed already, in a teen pregnancy thread, if I recall. IIRC, some nitwit came in the thread going on and on about how people should just not have intercourse if they don’t want to get pregnant. Who gives a fuck how responsible the partners are about birth control. If they don’t want to have baby after baby after baby, they should just never have intercourse. They don’t get to excersise a part of human instinct or experience that kind of intimacy with their life partners. Nope! If you don’t want to get preggers, _no sex for you!_ :rolleyes: I believe said nitwit had their ass handed to 'em. [sub]by the way, some people don’t want to be forced into a life of endless bj’s and cun. if _they want to have intercourse as well_. I believe the attitude of intercourse for procreation purposes only is confined to certain fundamentalist religious groups.[/sub] ---

**Gansagrl** I’m sorry, but your horrific coding made your post a bit difficult to understand. What I got from it was that a life of no intercourse except for the purposes of having a child is better than a life with an unplanned for child. Which basically boils down to an adult, married couple being expected to go 5, 10, 20+ years without engaging in sexual intercourse if they do not want children with possibly a brief reprise for as long as it takes to get pregnant if they do want children. You can’t seriously be advocating this. And before you go off on your whole “I’m not a prude, look, I’m advocating _oral_ sex!” roll again, I’d like to reiterate that oral sex and sexual intercourse are two seperate things. Together they’re great, one without the other, EVER? Not so much. ---

If the thought of accidental pregnancy scares you that much, though, you can subsist on BJ’s and cunnilingus if you wish. Just don’t expect too many people to agree with this higly paranoid solution. Wow, quite a case of shooting the messenger here. Yes, sex is an important part of the human experience, but is it such a radical idea that sometimes there are things more important than it? Should Mrs. Christopher Reeves find a new guy? And I still would it explained to me how it is that a life without intercourse is a terrible thing, if homosexuals routinely choose such a life. ---

Hey, if that’s what they _choose_, willingly and of their own free will, I say go for it. It’s not, however, what I would choose. Frankly, given the choice between gettting to have sex with my husband or never having sex with him because our birth control might fail, the sex thing wins hands down every time. ---
