The creepy-eyed beady-looking guinea hens were clumped together in the driveway last night, when I stopped by the barn of 30 horses, FIVE ponies, THREE goats, one mini mare named Whitney, one mini donkey named Dudley, two rabbits up at the owner’s house, assorted cats, and the raccoon that raids the grainroom. The wild turkey, named Tommie Girl, is still, alas, dead. An ex-turkey. Pining for the fjords of Massachusetts.
