Don’t get me started on Halloween. The nutjobs literally take over the downtown area of the “charming coastal town” I am temporarily obligated to live in. At least there haven’t been any fatal stabbings the last couple of years. ---

I find that reaaalllllly little kids are usually super quiet, and i have to talk to them, but I love seeing them and giving out candy. ---

We had the outside lights off and the front blinds drawn just to make it obvious that we weren’t playing. And yet, someone rang the doorbell. 😕 Thankfully it was a one-shot deal. At least I think it was. I’ll have to check for eggs or TP when it’s light out. ---

The songs and stuff were probably just at houses of people my mother and aunt knew, but most people answering the door did expect a joke or something instead of just “trick or treat” or the “durrr, gimme candy” face. Ah, well, off to find the radio station that plays Christmas music nonstop between now and New Year’s and torture my coworkers 🆒 ---
