I’m not sure where Trump fits in the “love - lust” continuum there. Is the man even capable of love? That requires empathy, sympathy, selflessness, being a normal human. ETA - going way, way off topic here. I will refrain. ---

Agreed. They know what they are doing is wrong, but that they had the power to do it anyway and they wanted to, so they did; immoral, not amoral. Immorality can probably transform into amorality over a period of repetition, as the person’s moral judgment turns progressively insensate, but I think that would tend to be more the case where it is the same action being repeated, rather than the person continually trying new ways to screw people over. ---

To me, “immoral” means you know right from wrong and choose to do wrong. “Amoral” is you have no awareness there is such a thing as right or wrong; there’s merely “I want” and you’re doing that. Because “why not?” In my view trump has been amoral since birth and rudy learned to be amoral somewhere along the way, probably pre- his connection with trump. ---
