A few days ago, Rachel Maddow ran a piece on the parallels between Cohen and Nixon’s personal lawyer / fixer / bagman, Herb Kalmbach. Herb felt abandoned by Nixon and flipped on him. My, my. These guys never learn. If there’s one person you want to make sure is always 100% happy, it’s the one who knows where the bodies are buried. (Which I’m not sure is just a metaphor in this case.) ---

He’ll just have to wait until he’s convicted. I don’t think pardoning him now will clear up his bond violation. Enjoy jail. ---

See, that’s where I’m still lost. Not all republicans can look away all the time. I think they would look fantastic to even the trumpeters if they put Pence in charge. The evangelicals would at least love that. ---
