> Well,[according to our new UN ambassador](https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2018/12/07/heather-nauert-cited-d-day-height-us-german-relations-now-shes-headed-un/?utm_term=.5dde372d8ce0), D-Day is an example of the height of the good relationship between the US and Germany, so I’m sure Pearl Harbor was an example of Japan showing us how much they like us.

On a related note, I’d just like to thank the Japanese government for its cooperation in allowing us to field-test two early nuclear weapons there a few years later.

No, not that I’ve been able to determine.

I hope Kelly burns Trump really, really badly. I hope Kelly has tapes and shares them with Mueller; tapes that fully, completely and without questions implicate Trump in obstruction.

It’s my only Christmas wish.

The judge in the Maria Butina case has taken it upon himself to add a public defender to Butina’s legal team. I have seen speculation, but no proof, that the judge did so because he doesn’t think the lawyers already on the case are really looking out for Butina’s interests.

Sounds like a reasonable theory, but I’ll note that the judge’s name is “Tanya Chutkan” so I’m less convinced on your choice of pronoun.

You think he is doing any form of touch-typing? He stares at the phone "where’s ‘i’? Okay, there it is. Where is ‘space’? right, the big one on the bottom . . .

I imagine his tweets take minutes to type out.

Mueller and SDNY both released their Cohen memos. I’ve only seen snippets on Twitter so far. My initial reaction is, “God _damn_!” Mueller drops a few Russian collusion bombs, and SDNY joins in with campaign finance bombs.

And we’re still waiting for the Manafort filing.

Holy shit!!

From Mueller’s filing in the Cohen case;
“Cohen provided the SCO with useful information concerning certain discrete Russia-related matters core to its investigation that he obtained by virtue of his regular contact with Company executives during them.”
