Let’s look at the fallout: 1. Bezos posted that he gave his PI an “unlimited budget” to find this info. 2. Bezos owns the Washington Post 3. Jerome Khashoggi, murdered by Saudi Arabia, was a Washington Post reporter 4. WaPo, obviously, is investigating the hell out of the murder 5. Pecker tries to blackmail Bezos into stopping the Khashoggi investigation\*, plan backfires 6. Bezos has $100+ billion. 7. … He has a team of reporters already digging into this. 8. He can hire more. Balloon the WaPo reporting and investigating so much they lose $50,000,000/year. What does he care? At that rate, he’ll be broke in… 2,000+ years. \*Obvious question: “WHY?” ---

They raised this money from … who exactly, it is unclear. What if… and I’m just spitballing here… What if some friendly Saudi folks were the ones to extend the $460 million lifeline to AMI? That would certainly explain why AMI were so keen to kill any stories or investigations into the Saudi murder of a journalist, would it not? Bottom line - who is running AMI now?
