The hysterics are red with anger over the partisanship they have bought into hook, line, and sinker. They cannot parse a nuanced position, not because they are as slack jawed as they appear, but because they are furious with anger because of their identification with the American head of state. They should seek fulfillment not from without but from within and they will be able to read again. You are not the state. A failure of state is not to be blamed on yourself. ---

Because what you are doing is exactly why the Russians did what they did. They know there are people, people who consider themselves smart, who are so blinded by whatever reason they have for disliking liberals, that they’ve completely forgone critical thinking and actually looking at facts. Yes I was mixed up about the indictments. There were unsubstantiated claims about the hacks in the indictments that Mueller knew were not going to be proven in court. But yes, there were indictments related to those claims. Good job. Now even if there were attempts at hacking by the Russians, it would still be boilerplate stuff. No reason to go to war. Also, no reason to abandon self respect and claim the NYT didn’t report that there was no collusion in the Mueller report. ---

I think it’s unfair to characterize Will as someone who hates America. He’s never struck me as an America-hater. What he hates is _reality_. He’s a second-rate Alex Jones, spewing vast quantities of paranoid nonsense and doubling down every time he’s challenged until eventually he disappears up his own backside. See how he continues to assert that the NYT “reported on the Mueller Report”. The report has not been released and the NYT do not appear to have a copy of it, yet he says they have reported on what the report says nonetheless because “Journalism!”. This is what constitutes a substantive argument in Will’s mind. Anyway, I’m bored with the whole PALATR thing to kill time. Just release the damn report already. ---
