The uncharitable might wonder if this happened because she likes the abbreviation “SS.” ---

The release of the _Barr Version Mueller Report_ could now be just hours away… Does anyone know how it will be transmitted to the public? Will the DoJ release it so it’s viewable online, or perhaps as a downloadable pdf file? The word [_bowdlerize_](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/bowdlerize) - “to remove or alter those parts of a text considered offensive, vulgar, or otherwise unseemly” - is named after English physician Thomas Bowdler (1754–1825), who in 1818 published a censored version of Shakespeare (_The Family Shakespeare_), expurgating “those words and expressions […] which cannot with propriety be read aloud in a family.” Will Bill Barr give name to a new word, with the meaning: “to remove or alter those parts of a text considered unethical, corrupt, or treasonous”? Will we get a _barrdlerized_ Mueller Report? ---

Barr will have no choice but to release the report, and it’ll be hard to redact it all. I suspect Barr has told the White House that, and that his compromise with the president is to give him and his team a heads-up on what the report says so that he can have time to prepare a series of rebuttals. But understand that we’ve already seen what we can expect – and what we can expect is that the conservatives will close their ranks even more tightly. Trump needs the extremists and the extremists need Trump. Do not expect anything in the report to change people’s minds. The only way minds are going to change is when they are living neck deep in the bullshit they’ve voted for - and even that won’t deter some people. ---
